I had a baby blue jay on my back porch railing,and was totally unafraid me.I was if you stay I’ll get my camera,and take some pictures,if it’s okay with you!It stayed, so I got my camera.Do they know we are no threat?I saw a mourning dove, and robin last summer on my back porch. They stayed right where they were, even as I was coming out to check my laundry, and neither moved! I don’t know why, but maybe it was as simple as a place to rest.
