Can you do tarot readings with an oracle deck the same way?
This video was intended for Tarot cards but can be followed with an Oracle deck as well.
Because in a Tarot deck there are 78 cards with very detailed meanings, they usually have more “rules” attached to them. Tarot cards work like pages in a book that you put together to create a story. Oracle cards, on the other hand, are more like a whole chapter in the book. Each one has a “big picture” sense to it. Oracle decks come in various sizes and have less specific rules and interpretations so they are free-flowing and flexible.
You may also use Oracle cards in conjunction with Tarot, for example drawing one Oracle card to represent the overall theme of the reading, and Tarot cards for fine-tuning.
