Peace, Love, Calm Spell Jar Ritual - Weekly Challenge

I spent this morning deciding on which herbs, crystals, jars, incense, music, & other specifics for my Peace, Love, & Calm Spell Jar. I haven’t done a spell jar in a while & I would like to welcome these things to myself & my home. I used a small enough jar that I can carry with me wherever I go.

I began by going outside & standing at the foot of my garden with bare feet. I let the sun shine down on my face & took a few deep cleansing breaths feeling the sun shine it’s light on me & feeling its warmth throughout my body. I went into the house & I anointed my white candle (peace & cleansing) with Harmonizing Oil, Rosemary for calm & protection, Chamomile for Peace & Relaxation. I lit a black candle for protection against negative energies. Then I lit Lavender incense to bring in calm & relaxation. I sat on my floor in front of my altar & used Spells8 Grounding Guided Meditation

Once I finished the meditation, I have a witchy playlist for when I am doing witchy workings. It has 2 Brigid Songs & then Celtic Relaxation music. I started the playlist & asked Brigid to assist me with healing & harmony & peace for my spell jar. I placed Her coins in my Malachite Heart Shaped Trinket Box at the base of Her statue.

I opened the spell jar & began adding the ingredients. I used Red Jasper for Grounding, Amethyst for Peace, Calm, Anti Anxiety; Rose Quartz for Love & Harmony. Then I added St. John’s Wort calmness, peace, & to repel negative energies, Rosemary for protection, & anti-anxiety, Lemon Balm for love, healing, & calm; Chamomile for peace, calm, anti-anxiety, Lavender for relaxation, harmony, & Rose for love and friendship. I added small clear quartz to amplify the intentions in the jar. Then I sealed the top with black candle wax to protect the contents of the jar from negative energies. Once the lid was sealed I asked the ingredients to work with each other for grounding, peace, happiness, love, & calm.

Currently, I have the completed jar on my altar with my Brigid statue next to Her coins. I am letting the candles & incense complete their process before I move the spell jar from my altar.

Always practice candle safety. I put my tealight in my little cauldron with the black candle in a chime holder placed inside a votive holder. See also: Candle Safety PDF

Thank you @Rowan & @Amethyst, I hadn’t done anything in a while & wanted to bring grounding & anointing candles together for a spell that I came up with on my own in its entirety. I’m happy with the way it came together for me.

Thank you @NickWick :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I’m really happy with it too. I think I may put it in a pouch so it doesn’t get to beat up in my pocket or purse. I have a nice soft & heavy cotton one.
