How are you Celebrating Mabon 2021?

Mabon is a very special holiday named after the Welsh God Mabon, son of Modron. This is a celebration of the Fall Equinox, a time of balance, with its counterpart in the southern hemisphere being Ostara or the Spring Equinox.

As we enter the dark half of the year, we give thanks to the waning Sun for its gifts throughout the year and celebrate a time of rest after the labour of the harvest. Let’s reflect back on how the hopes and aspirations of Imbolc and Ostara manifested during the summer.

Our Spells8 coven is celebrating Mabon, 2021 in many different ways, sharing:

  1. Mabon/Ostara Decoration Setups
  2. Mabon Goodies/Recipes
  3. Mabon Tattoo and Celebrations
  4. Tarot Spreads for Mabon

If you want to share your Mabon celebration with Spells8, join the Coven and share your moments with us in the Spells8 Forum.

The main symbols of Mabon are the Cornucopia, for the wealth of harvest and are beautifully balanced symbols. The apple is another symbol of fruit harvest. From green to red, orange, yellow, brown, and gold, all of these colours are for the Mabon celebration. Generally, people celebrate it through ritual along with designing alter with fruits and flowers or celebrate with family or relatives with the Great Feast of Thanksgiving and so on.
