Homemade Pentagram

Hello to all,
Since Imbolc, I’ve been keeping fresh :hibiscus: :rose::hibiscus: on my Altar. Try to buy a bouquet every week or so. Nothing expensive, just pretty and bright colors that invoke feelings of spring to come. Plus I feel my altar appreciates it. Makes me feel good too. Anyhow, i bought a :bouquet: of carnations a couple of days ago. I saved the cut stems and decided to make a pentagram with it. Been wanting to buy one , however, being on a tight budget, just need to be creative.
What do you guys think?

Thank you,
Blessed be

Greetings, @walter!

I love the idea of adding fresh flowers to your altar each week. I imagine as warmer weather comes, it will be easier to find dazzling flowers to decorate your sacred space! :bouquet: :sparkles:

You are so creative to save the stems and use them to make something so lovely- the pentagram came out amazing :star2: Thank you for share your great idea and the beautiful outcome- it’s inspirational! (And I love the sprinkle of petals on top- so pretty! :cherry_blossom: )

Blessed be :sparkles:

Good morning @walter! That looks lovely & I love that you are keeping fresh flowers! Carnations come in so many colors or you can change them fairly easily too. The pentagram looks really good. You did a great creative job on it! I have fresh lilies in my house right now. I love fresh flowers also. The smells & the colors. Definitely invoke feelings of Spring in my house. I can’t wait for them to start blooming in my yard. Sometimes we get our crocuses around this time of year. I haven’t seen any yet, but when I do I will take a couple of pictures. They are what let me know that Spring is around the corner here.

I wish I could keep flowers, but I have a difficult enough time keeping the cat out of my morning candles. But that is just a wonderful idea! And I love your pentagram! Sometimes homemade is better, you put your time and energy into it. Great job!

@walter this looks great! I should have thought about that and did the same from the flowers I bought. I will have to remember to do this next time. Thank you for sharing. Blessed be.

@BryWisteria , thank you so much! I like to buy, carnations or daisies. Not expensive at all- 6.00-7.00 per :bouquet:. I like to change up the cloth, which is a scarf. They have so many different colors at the dollar store. Feels good to invest in my Altar. I like changing it up- nice to have budget- friendly options.

I too made my own pentagram - out of sticks and twine. I am also an artist, so I love making my own tools.
