Happy Monday everyone! Congrats to @christina4 and @Garnet for showing their love for the community! That’s great!

I’ll probably be doing the Full Corn Moon ritual for tonight, and if I can find some leaves the Mabon one for the Equinox. I’m so excited for Fall, I’m sick of it being hot and muggy. LOL. I’m ready for cooler temps and the leaves to turn.

As for me, my in-person doctor visit just turned into a telehealth one over the phone. This worries me because of Covid. But as long as I stay away I should be good. This was just a regular check-up with my PCP so it’s no big deal.

So what are you all up to this week? Anyone doing anything interesting?

I’m with ya on loving the cooler weather!!! I’m tired of being hot and sticky!
I just finished a money bags spell. And I’m going to do the same Mabon spell. And I’m not sure which one I’m doing for the full moon but I better think fast!

My problem is on the Mabon spell is that it’s so warm and humid, I have no leaves that have fallen. But that’s okay because I was going to flush the leaves rather than do this outside, me standing outside at the apartments writing on leaves will get me taken away by the men in the little white coats around here. So I’ll use TP instead. LOL! It’ll work, as long as I think it does!

I hear ya! I’d look crazy here, too but I have leaves though. I could flush them, too.

You could always write and do the chant inside and pop outside to crumble the leaves.

That’s true too! I might do that. Although, I think a lot of people know what I do but won’t ask me. :joy: It’s funny because when I wear jewelry or have my money bag and other stuff like jar spells, I could almost read their minds

No need to rub it in the muggles’ faces though. Although it does get tempting the closer to Halloween it gets!

There’s a lot going on this week with the Corn Moon and Mabon! Have all the ingredients ready for my glass jar spell: a handful of corn kernels, three cinnamon sticks, and seven quarters. Might add some rosemary leaves and coarse salt too.
It’s still warm and humid here, but that’s supposed to change soon. Hopefully, it won’t be hot and humid again until next May or June.
Have a blessed Corn Moon and Mabon! :maple_leaf::corn::full_moon::maple_leaf:

I know! It’s so hard!!! I’d love to though!!! You know who I’m talking about :joy:

I’ve downloaded the pages titled Corn Moon and Harvest Moon and I’m going to try and do a combo of the two!

Edit: I’ve actually decided I could do one tonight and one tomorrow night The full moon is at it’s peak in the early hours of the morning here so if I do one today and one tomorrow I don’t have to pick and choose.

So I had the first of my full moon celebrations starting with the Harvest Moon ritual.

Beautiful moon again :full_moon:

Yeppers! I do! LOL!

Sounds as if your jar spell is off to a good start! Good luck to you!

Wonderful pic of it, @IrisW! That’s just gorgeous!

Congrats again, @Christina4! Wishing the same to you- have a blessed week!

I hope cooler temps come for you soon, @Amethyst! I already packed up my summer clothes and we’re at the point where we need jackets outside here! :coat: :fallen_leaf: I’ll send you some of this chilly weather- here it comes! :incoming_envelope: :snowflake:

It sounds like you are all ready to go, @Kasandra- enjoy your full moon spellwork! It sounds like it will be one lovely jar spell :sparkles: Have fun and blessed be!

Absolutely beautiful, @IrisW- it looks like your outside altar space is quickly becoming a favorite of yours! I can see why, it’s a beautiful spot :sparkles: And ohhhh look at that moon  :full_moon:

Wishing a blessed full moon to all! And happy Mabon/Ostara to those who have begun their Sabbat celebrations! :tada::heart:

Congratulations to @christina4 & @Garnet! Great job ladies! The forum wouldn’t be the same without both of you!

I’m sorry that I missed posting here yesterday. Right now it’s about 2 AM. I was woken up about 12:30 AM to a phone call & just haven’t been able to go back to bed. Once everyone is where they need to be, I will lay down.

Yesterday, I got so much done. I felt so good & productive. The weather was gorgeous. No humidity to speak of & a nice breeze. The sun was shining bright & it was about 73/74 degrees. I could do this weather all the time! I did crash on the couch around 4:30 PM yesterday afternoon until just after 6 PM then ate dinner & crashed again after I was finished. So maybe, even though I felt great & was in a good mood, I did too much.

I also started wearing my ankle braces again during the day. I hadn’t been a very good patient for a few months while my life imploded, but I am trying to get back on track. I also made the hand therapy appointments & they go through October. I see my primary care this Thursday, the first time since the beginning of June. Everything was put on hold while I went through some things, I can finally start normal things back up.

I think today I just have a few phone calls to make really. I have to check on the car insurance for my son’s truck. I have to update my insurance with my neurologist & call the specialty pharmacy. I have one email to send today too. All things I can do in the morning then have the rest of the day off so to speak. I have to get used to baby steps when getting back into my groove.

I didn’t do anything for the Full Corn Moon, the repercussions of crashing on the couch when you take a minute to sit down. I want to do something with my altar for Mabon & I want to do the ritual from my Tamed Wild Subscription Box for the Persephone amulet & I want to redo my ancestor altar.

I hope everyone has a great week! :infinite_roots:

I’m a work in progress with my altar but I have to do something for Mabon today! Did you show is your Persephone amulet? I can’t remember much these days. I’m sorry if you did. I have touch up my ancestor altar!

@christina4 I just got the box & I haven’t done the ritual yet. Once I do I will post a picture of the amulet & the bracelet with the others on it. I have to switch my bracelets to my right wrist at some point after the ritual seems like a good time.

My brain doesn’t have short term memory & long term memory is on its way out

It worked! It’s supposed to be down in the forties at night later on this week. That’ll be nice!

Don’t feel bad @Susurrus, I ended up not doing anything for the full moon either. Sometimes you’ve just got to rest. And it sounds as if you’ve been busy. Good luck getting your ancestor altar done!

Thank you! I’m trying to take my time so I don’t have the crash at the end of the day, but idle time for me is bad lately. My brain goes in a thousand different directions & each one has a tab open somewhere
