He was a popular deity to honor at celebrations and there are several festivals specifically dedicated to Dionysus and his Roman counterpart Bacchus- including the Festival of Dionysus and the Bacchanalia 🍷

Although He can be worshipped through the year, Dionysus is a deity tied to the Sabbat Mabon and the Autumn Equinox- the time of harvest festivities and when are being turned into wine 🍇

By Your will, let us raise the curtain and set the stage-

That all woes and worries be gone from this place.

By Your will, let joy flow like wine,
