Merry meet!
Thank you again to everyone who joined in for last week’s Weekly Witchy Challenge - Tools of the Witch Trade
After exploring our favorite magickal tools and perusing the carefully arranged collections of the coven, it’s time to toss all sense of organization to the wind- this week we are going a little wild and crazy!
The theme for this week’s challenge is tied to the chaos of April Fool’s Day, was suggested by the amazing @Kasandra, and is…
Chaos Magick
Exploring a freeing and creative area of magick
What is “Chaos Magick”?
Chaos Magick is a curious aspect of magick that deals with workings outside of the norm. It emerged in England in the 1970’s, and is often credited to the occultist Peter Carroll .
Chaos Magic is playful and creative because it rejects dogmatic, traditional structures. It is an attitude that promotes experimentation and imagination. The belief system in which we engage means more to the outcome of the ritual or spell than the fundamentalist and rigid practicing of specific rites. Therefore, it is our belief what ultimately makes the Magic work.
Unexpected and unpredictable, Chaos magic can be freeing and fun . With its lawless attitude, anything goes and is repeated as long as there are tangible results to back it up.

When it comes to Chaos Magick, practitioners are free to throw rules and doctrine out the window- the name of the game is freedom, and the only limits are those that you set in place for yourself.
This week is all about exploring Chaos Magick - but (perhaps more-so now than ever!) how you do so is up to you!
